PropellerAds as a Traffic Source

PropellerAds is one of Voluum's trusted traffic sources that offers you a global reach with its various ad formats. Voluum provides you with a traffic source template for PropellerAds that makes the whole setup process as easy as it can get.

The following guide describes how to create a working campaign funnel with PropellerAds as a traffic source.

Integration available :The following document describes the setup for the basic template integration. However, this traffic source can be integrated via a reliable API connection thanks to the Automizer feature. This enables accurate cost tracking, campaign management from the Voluum dashboard and rule creation. If you want to fully integrate this traffic source with Voluum, read the PropellerAds Full Integration article.

PropellerAds Integration

Voluum and PropellerAds are integrated with each other. It means that you can pass cost information, as well as control your campaigns from within Voluum: change bids and pause or resume whole campaigns or single placements.

If you want to learn more about this feature, read the PropellerAds Full Integration article.

Before You Start

Before you dig into the setup process, verify that you have the following things ready:

  • An active Voluum account.
  • An active PropellerAds account.
  • An offer to promote, either proprietary or from an affiliate network platform.
  • Optionally, a landing page.
  • Optionally, the aid and tid values from your PropellerAds account. These are account specific and required for reporting conversions. You can get them from your PropellerAds account:

Copy these values to any text editing tool for later.

With all things mentioned above, you are ready to start configuring both platforms to work together.
