PWN GAMES and Voluum

PWN Games is an affiliate network focused on monetizing video games-related traffic. They allow showing their content using various channels in western and Asian GEOs. The following guide describes how to set up tracking of their offers with Voluum.

The following things are required to set up tracking of their offers:

• An active Voluum account
• An active PWN Games account

Once you have everything, proceed with the rest of the guide.

The first thing you need to do is to add a PWN Games affiliate network to Voluum. This will configure both the tracking tokens and a postback URL automatically. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to the Affiliate networks tab.

2. Click the Create button and select the Affiliate network option from the drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the PWN Games affiliate network template.

4. Click the Next button.

   

5. Click the Copy button next to the postback URL to copy it to the clipboard.

6. Click the Save button.

   

You have now added an affiliate network to Voluum and copied the already configured postback URL.

The postback URL that you have just copied from Voluum will allow PWN Games to report conversions to Voluum. In order to submit it to PWN Games, perform the following steps:

1. In PWN Games, go to the Postbacks view.

2. Click the Add Postback button.

   

3. Select the Global option from the Postback level drop-down menu.
4. Select the Postback option from the Delivery method drop-down menu.

5. Paste the postback URL that you have copied from Voluum in the Postback URL text field.

   

6. Click the Add button.

You have just configured the postback URL. Now it is time to pick an offer to promote.

In this step, you will learn how to select an offer from PWN Games. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In PWN Games, go to the Offers view.

2. Select an offer you would like to promote.

   

3. Click the Request approval button.

   

4. Once your offer is approved, enter the offer's details and go to the TRACKING LINKS view.

5. Copy the offer URL to the clipboard. You do not have to set up any tracking parameters here as they will be added in Voluum later on.

   

You have now obtained an offer URL. You are almost done. The last part will be about adding an offer element to Voluum with this offer URL.

In order to add an offer to Voluum, follow the steps below:

1. In Voluum, go to Offers.

2. Click the Create button and select the Offer option from a drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the PWN Games affiliate network that you have just created from the Affiliate networks drop-down menu.
4. Provide a name for your offer in the Offer name text field.
5. Paste the offer URL that you have copied from Voluum in the Offer URL text field.
6. Copy the tracking parameter and paste it at the end of the offer URL after the ? character.

7. Click the Save button.

   

Congratulations, you have successfully set tracking of the PWN Games offers. You can now use this offer element in your Voluum campaigns.
