Alfaleads and Voluum

The following document describes how to set up tracking of Alfaleads offers with the Volum tracker.

The following things are required prior to the setup process:

• An active Voluum account
• An active Alfaleads account

Once you have everything ready, you can proceed with the rest of the guide.

The first thing you need to do is to create an affiliate network element in Voluum from a template. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to the Affiliate networks tab.

2. Click the Create button and select the Affiliate network option from the drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the Alfaleads affiliate network template.

4. Click the Next button.

   

5. Click the Copy button next to the postback URL to copy it to the clipboard.

6. Click the Save button.

   

You now have added an affiliate network to Voluum and copied the postback URL.

The second thing you need to do is to set up a postback URL in Alfaleads. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In Alfaleads, click your login in the uper right corner of the screen.

2. Select the Profile option from the drop-down menu.

   

3. Scroll down to the Global postback section.
4. Click the Add postback button.
5. Paste the postback URL that you have copied from Voluum in the text field.

6. Click the Save button.

   

This postback will apply to all new offers.

The third thing you need to do is to find an offer and get the offer URL from Alfaleads. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In Alfaleads, go to the Offers tab.

2. Select one of the available offer options.

   

   Voluum Note: Some offer require additional approval.

3. Click the Get link button next to the offer you want to promote. If an offer requires an additional approval, you have to click the Request acces button and then wait for approval.

   

4. Scroll down to the Tracking link section and click the button to copy it to the clipboard.

   

You have now obtained the offer URL.

The last thing you need to do is to create an offer in Voluum. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to Offers.

2. Click the Create button and select the Offer option from a drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the Alfaleads affiliate network from the Affiliate network drop-down menu.
4. Provide a name for the offer in the Name text field.
5. Paste the offer URL that you have obtained from Alfaleads in the Offer URL text field.
6. Copy the tracking parameter and add it at the end of your offer URL after the & character.

7. Click the Save button.

   

Congratulations, you have now added a Alfaleads offer to Voluum. You can use this offer in your campaigns.
