CrakRevenue and Voluum

CrakRevenue provides a wide variety of content for adult traffic. They operate on the CPA model. You can find offers, surveys and smartlinks there. The following guide provides you with instructions on how to track their offers with Voluum.

The following things are required to begin setting up tracking their offers:

• An active Voluum account.
• An active CrakReveue account.
• Optionally, an SSL certificate enabled on your tracking domain.

Once you have everything ready, you can proceed with this guide.

In the first step, you need to find an offer you want to promote in CrakRevenue to get the tracking link. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In CrakRevenue, go to Offers.

   

2. Use the filtering options to narrow down your search.

3. Click the offer you want to promote to go to the offer details.

   

4. Click the button in the Tracking link section to copy it to the clipboard. You do not need to provide any link customization options, as all tracking parameters will be provided by Voluum later on.

   

You have now obtained the tracking link. You can submit it as an offer URL in Voluum.

In the second step we describe how to add an affiliate network element in Voluum. This element can be used for organizational purposes and to provide you with the correct tracking parameters. In order to add an affiliate network element, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to the Affiliate networks tab.

2. Click the New affiliate network button.

   

3. Select the CrakRevenue template.

4. Click the Next button.

   

5. Configure other options, according to your needs, and click the Save button.

   

Once you have added an affiliate network element, you can add an offer to Voluum.

In order to add an offer element, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to the Offers tab.

2. Click the Create button.

   

3. Select the CrakRevenue affiliate network element that you have just created.
4. Provide a name for the offer in the Offer name text field.
5. Paste the copied tracking link in the Offer URL text field.

   Copy the tracking parameter and add it at the end of the offer URL, preceded by the & character. Your offer URL should look like this:
7. Click the Copy button to copy the postback URL to the clipboard.

8. Click the Save button.

   

You have now obtained the postback URL, that CrakRevenue will use to report conversions to Voluum. To do so, you need to submit it to CrakRevenue.

In order to submit a postback URL to CrakRevenue, perform the following steps:

1. In CrakRevenue, locate the offer that you are promoting.
2. Go to the Postback Options section in the offer details view.
3. Paste the copied postback URL from Voluum in the Type your postback URL here text field.

4. Click the Create postback button.

   

That was it. You have successfully set up the postback URL and created the offer element. You can use this element to create a campaign in Voluum.
