Media500 and Voluum

The Media500 affiliate network provides a selection of offers from over 80 GEO's. They operate in the CPA model. The following guide gives instruction on how to set up tracking of their offers with Voluum.

Setting up tracking requires having the following things ready:

• An active Voluum account.
• An active Media500 account

Once you have everything ready, you can go through the guide below.

In the first step, you need to ad MEdia500 affiliate network element to Voluum. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to the Affiliate networks tab.

2. Click the Create button and select the Affiliate network option from the drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the Media500 template.

4. Click the Next button.

   

5. Click the Copy button next to the postback URL to copy it to the clipboard.

6. Click the Save button.

   

You have now obtained the postback URL.

In order to track an offer, you need to get one from Media500. This will provide you with the offer URL that you will submit to Voluum in step 3 of this guide. To do so, perform the following steps:

1. In Media500, click Offers and then All offers option from the menu on the left.
2. Use filters or search field to narrow down your search.

3. Once you locate an offer that you want to promote, click the offer's name.

   

4. Scroll down to the Your pixels/postback section and click the Add new pixel/postback button.

   

5. Select the Postback URL option from the Code type drop-down menu.
6. Paste the copied postback URL in the Code text field.

7. Click the Create button.

   

8. Scroll back to the top of the page and copy the tracking link to the clipboard.

   

You have now set up the offer and the postback URL in Media500. The hard part is over.

In this last step, we describe how to add an offer element to Voluum. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to Offers.

2. Click the Create button and select the Offer option from a drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the Media500 affiliate network from the Affiliate network drop-down menu.
4. Provide a name for your offer in the Offer name text field.
5. Paste the copied tracking URL in the Offer URL text field.
6. Copy the tracking parameter and add it at the end of the offer URL after the & character.

7. Click the Save button.

   

You have now correctly added an offer element to Voluum. You can use this element in your campaign funnels from now on.
