LeadXchange and Voluum

LeadXchange is a private affiliate network, where you can find offers submitted by your account managers or public offers. The following guide provides instructions on how to set up tracking their offers with Voluum.

Before you continue with this guide, make sure you have the following:

• An active LeadXchange account
• An active Voluum account.

Once you have everything ready, you can proceed to the next step.

In the first step, you need to find a campaign and get a campaign link that you will submit as an offer URL in Voluum. To do so, perform the following steps:

1. In LeadXchange, you have two options to find offers:

   • Private campaigns: talk to your account manager to get offers. Once added, they will show up in the Your Campaigns view.
   • Public campaigns: you can find them in the Public Campaigns view. Find a campaign you like and click the Create campaign button next to it.
2. The campaigns that you can promote can be found in the Your offers view. Go to this view.

3. Click the Copy button next to the offer you want to promote.

   

You now have the offer link in your clipboard. Go to Voluum fo the next step.

Voluum provides many affiliate network templates, that not only allow you to organize your offers by their source, but also provide all tracking tokens necessary. This makes the whole setup process much easier. In the following step, you will add the LeadXchange affiliate network template to Voluum. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to the Affiliate networks tab.

2. Click the Create button and select the Affiliate network option from the drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the LeadXchange affiliate network template.

4. Click the Next button.

   

5. Click the Save button.

   

You have now added the affiliate network element to Voluum.

In order to add an offer element, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to Offers.

2. Click the Create button and select the Offer option from a drop-down menu.

   

3. In the New offer form, select the LeadXchange affiliate network element that you have just created.
4. Provide a name for an offer in the Offer name text field.
5. Paste the campaign link that you have copied from LeadXchange in the Offer URL text field.
6. Copy the tracking parameter and add it at the end of the offer URL.
7. Click the Copy button next to the postback URL to copy it to the clipboard.

8. Click the Save button.

   

Congratulations, you have now added the LeadXchange offer element to Voluum. You can use it in your campaign funnels.

The last step of this guide describes configuring the postback URL, that will allow LeadXchange to pass conversions back to Voluum. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In LeadXchange, go to the Account view.

2. Paste the postback URL that you have copied from Voluum in the Default postback text field.

   

3. Click the Save contact information button.
