Big Bang Ads and Voluum

Big Bang Ads is a private affiliate network that provides a selection of carefully selected offers with high payouts. The following guide provides instructions on how to set up tracking of their offers with Voluum.

There are some things required to make tracking work, so make sure you have them before moving on:

• An active Big Bang Ads account.
• An active Voluum account

Once you have those, proceed to the next step of this guide.

The first step is about getting an offer from Big Bang Ads. You need to find one and get the tracking link that you will submit later as an offer URL to Voluum. In order to get an offer, perform the following steps:

1. In Big Bang Ads, click the Offers options from the menu on the left and then go the All offers view.
2. Use the search and/or filtering options to locate an offer you like.

3. Click the name of the offer you want to promote.

   

4. Click the Request approval button and wait for your request to be approved. Approved offers will appear in the My Live Offers view.
5. Once your offer is approved, go to the My Live Offers view.

6. Click the approved offer name.

   

7. Copy the tracking link to the clipboard. You do not have to set up any tracking parameters at this point.

   

Congratulations, you have obtained a tracking link from Big Bang Ads. Proceed to the second step of this guide.

In Voluum, affiliate network elements help to segregate your offers by their source and, when pre-defined templates are used, set up tracking parameters. In order to add an affiliate network element to Voluum, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to the Affiliate networks view.

2. Click the New affiliate network button.

   

3. Select the Big Bang Ads template.

4. Click the Next button.

   

5. Click the Save button.

   

An offer element in Voluum defines where a visitor should be directed to. It is essential for creating a working campaign funnel in Voluum. In order to add an offer element, follow the steps below:

1. In Voluum, go to Offers.

2. Click the Create button and select the Offer option from a drop-down menu.

   

3. In the New offer form, select the Big Bang Ads affiliate network element that you have just created from the Affiliate network drop-down menu.
4. Provide a name for the offer in the Offer name text field.
5. Paste the URL that you have copied from Big bang Ads in the Offer URL text field.

   Copy the tracking parameter and paste it at the end of the offer URL after the & character. Your final offer URL should look like this:
7. Click the Copy button to copy the postback URL to the clipboard.

8. Click the Save button.

   

The last step is about submitting a postback URL to Big Bang Ads. This will allow them to report conversions to Voluum. In order to do that, follow the steps below:

1. In Big Bang Ads, go to your offer in the My Live Offers view again.
2. Scroll down to the Your Pixels / Postbacks section and click the button to expand the postback section.

3. Click the Add New Pixel/Postback button.

   

4. Select the Postback URL option from the Code type drop-down menu.
5. Paste the postback URL that you have copied from Voluum in the Code text field.

6. Click the Create button.

   

You have just finished the setup process. You can use the offer element that you have just created in your Voluum campaign funnels.
