Mondiad as a Traffic source

A. (Optionally) Create an affiliate network element. Read the Add an Affiliate Network to Voluum article to learn how to do that.

B. Create an offer element. Read the Add an Offer to Voluum article to learn how to do that.

C. (Optionally) Create a lander element. Read the Add a Lander Element article to learn more.

D. Create a traffic source element. Voluum provides you with the Mondiad traffic source template, so you can use it and skip most of the manual setup. In order to use this template, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to Traffic sources.

2. Click the Create button and select the Traffic source option from the drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the Mondiad template from the list of available templates.
4. Click the Next button. The New traffic source form will appear.
5. You can change or adjust any option in the New traffic source form. Once you have done so, click the Save button.

E. Create a campaign. 

In Voluum, go to Campaigns, click the Create button and select the Campaign Simple or Campaign Advanced option from the drop-down menu.

1. In the New campaign form, select the Mondiad traffic source that you have just created from the Traffic source drop-down menu.
2. Provide a name for the campaign in the Campaign name text field.
3. (Optionally) Select a lander you have previously created from the Landers drop-down menu.
4. Select an offer that you have just created from the Offers drop-down menu.

5. Click the Save button.

   

6. Click the Copy button next to the campaign URL to copy it to the clipboard and paste it to any text editing tool.
7. Click the Done button.

1. In Mondiad, go to the Campaigns tab and click the Create campaign button.

   

2. Select ad type.
3. Provide a name for the campaign.

4. Paste the campaign URL in the Target URL text field.

   

5. Set up your creative.

   

6. Set any traffic targeting and optimization options you like.
7. Tick the box to acknowledge that you have read Campaign Quality Guidelines.

8. Click Sent to moderation.

   

Do this if you want to pass conversion info back to Mondiad. The postback template for passing conversions from Voluum is set in Mondiad's traffic source template. The only thing to do is to grab your user ID from Mondiad and paste it to the postback.

1. In Mondiad, go to the Conversion tracking tab.

2. Copy the uid value from the postback template.

   

3. In Voluum, edit the Mondiad traffic source.

   Replace the uid value in the postback template marked as REPLACE with the copied value. Your original postback should look like this:

5. Click the Save button.
