MaxWeb and Voluum

MaxWeb is an affiliate network that operates in several verticals, such as nutra, ecommerce, and survival. The following article describes how to set up tracking of their offers with Voluum.

There are a few things required prior to setting up tracking. Make sure you have:

• An active Voluum account
• An active MaxWeb account

Once you have everything, proceed with the guide.

The first thing you need to do is to add an affiliate network element in Voluum. This will configure all tracking parameters automatically and provide you with the already configured postback URL. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to the Affiliate networks tab.

2. Click the Create button and select the Affiliate network option from the drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the MaxWeb affiliate network template.

4. Click the Next button.

   

5. Click the Copy button next to the postback URL to copy it to the clipboard.

6. Click the Save button.

   

You have now the MaxWeb affiliate network added to Voluum and a configured postback URL copied in the clipboard. Go to MaxWeb platform for the next step.

The second thing you need to do is to get an offer from MaxWeb.

1. In MaxWeb, go to the Campaigns view.

2. Locate an offer you want to promote. Note that you have to be approved before you will be able to run some offers. Those offers will have the Apply to run button visible. Offers that do not require approval will have the Promote button visible.

   

3. Click to enter your account.

   

4. Go to the Settings view.
5. Go to the Postback Pixel tab.

6. Click the Add New button.

   

7. Paste the postback URL that you have copied from Voluum in the URL text field.

8. Click the Save button.

   

9. Go to the Dashboard view.

10. Copy the offer URL to the clipboard.

    

The third thing you need to do is to add an offer element in Voluum with the offer URL you have copied from MaxWeb.

1. In Voluum, go to Offers.

2. Click the Create button and select the Offer option from a drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the MaxWeb affiliate network that you have created.
4. Provide a name for the offer in the Offer name text field.
5. Paste the offer URL that you have copied from MaxWeb in the Offer URL text field.
6. Copy the tracking parameter and add it to the offer URL after the ? character.

7. Click the Save button.

   

Congratulations, you have successfully set up tracking of MaxWeb offers. You can use this offer element in your campaign funnels.
