General Settings


The General Settings tab allows you to change various options regarding the presentation of your data.

Conversion Registration Time Reporting

Using the radio buttons for conversion registration time reporting allows you to change how your global conversion reporting is presented based on event timestamps. The following covers the different time-based options available for conversion reporting and what kind of impact they have on displaying your reports.

There are two different time-based factors that implicate how conversion reports are generated: visit timestamp and postback timestamp.

  • Visit Timestamp : Time of when a visitor went through your campaign URL.
  • Postback timestamp : Time of when a conversion is registered for a visitor went through your campaign URL

Default Home Screen

With this option, you can select which tab will be used as a default one after logging in to your account or after clicking the HOME or Voluum buttons. There are three options available:

  • Dashboard
  • Campaign list
  • Last opened global report

Note that when you select the Last opened global report option, information about last visited report will be stored locally. So when your session ends, you will be directed to the default Dashboard view.

Default tab in a campaign form

The default tab option selects which tab in the New campaign form is the default one. There are three options at your disposal:

IP anonymization

IP anonymization settings allow to automatically alter the last part of an IP address to hide it in the Voluum database and in reports to be compliant with privacy laws. Using this setting affects the whole account - there is no possibility to hide IPs only partially. Also, this setting does not work retrospectively.

This setting affects your display currency. It does not affect currencies of your costs and payouts, set in traffic source and offers setups. The display currency you set here is used to display various currencies using one common denominator. It does not influence the recorded data in any way.
