  4. Start with setting up your campaign status. A green toggle means the campaign will be active once accepted and a grey toggle means paused. Remember that when active, your campaign will start running immediately when approved. You can read more on campaign statuses here.

  5. Workspaces are an advanced feature that allows you to segregate your campaign's elements by different criteria. For the most basic setup, you can leave this option as it is. To learn more, read the Workspaces: Overview article.

    Caution

Voluum DSP Note: Note that Workspaces feature is available only if you have the Voluum tracker subscription plan.

  6. Enter a unique campaign name in the Campaign name text field. The name of the campaign is based on the following pattern: {Voluum DSP} - {your_unique_custom_name}.

  7. To improve search, you can add tags to your campaign. Provide new tags or select existing ones from the drop-down menu.

  8. In the Destination section you have two options:

    • Select the Destination URL radio button if you only have an offer in your funnel and add URL of your offer there. You can add available Voluum tokens to the URL if you need to track some additional information. However, make sure that you match Voluum’s tokens with your affiliate network’s parameters correctly.

(Available only if you have selected the Destination URLT option) The Payout option defines the revenue model for your campaign. The default is CPA (Dynamic) which takes the conversion value from the postback or pixel. For CPM add a price for 1000 impressions and for CPV add a price for a visit. For CPA (Fixed Price) add a payout value for a conversion. For Cost+ enter the % markup on the top of the media cost. This will populate in the Revenue column under Reporting to monitor the margin/profit of your campaign.

    • Select the Flow radio button if you have a more complicated funnel which consists of a lander and an offer.  Select a flow that you created before or create a new one by clicking the Create new flow option from the drop-down menu.

(Available only if you have selected the Flow option ) Select the  DSP redirect domain from the drop-down menu. Make sure you select the same domain used in the click URL on your landing page. To find out more on this setup, read the article here.

  9. In the Advertiser domain text field, put a domain name which refers to the home website of the owner of the advertised offer. Do not put your landing page domain here. If you target brand Ad Exchange (for example Outbrain or Taboola), make sure your advertiser domain is adequate to the presented offer (topic/vertical).

  10. Set the Capping options:

    1. Frequency capping allows you to limit the number of times your advertisement will be displayed on a unique device per day. By default, frequency capping is set to 3.

      Caution

Voluum DSP Note: One ISP typically allows one IP address. It's recommended to increase frequency capping to make sure you target every single user under one IP.

    2. Impression per widget allows you to limit the number of times your advertisement will be displayed on a single widget. The default value is 1.

  11. Click the Show more settings option to proceed with more options:

    1. If you set a start and end dates, the campaign will run only within this time-range. If you leave this option empty, your campaign will use your daily and total budget to control the spend.

    2. In the Day parting section, by clicking Run campaign on a schedule you can choose a time of the day or days of the week when you want your campaign to run. Note that it is set to run 24/7 by default.

    3. Select the timezone based on the country you want to run it in. This helps you to bid during the peak-times.

  12. Click the Next button to go to the TARGETING tab.
