Topping up Your Account

Before you can start your campaigns, you need to top up your account. Find below some information about payments in Voluum DSP:

  • You can add a credit to your account via credit card, PayPal, or wire transfer.

  • You can top up your DSP account in the following currencies: American dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), Polish zloty (PLN), Australian dollar (AUD). For wire transfers, only EUR and USD are available.

  • Every time you top up, you need to pay a service fee that is comprised of a percentage of the top-up amount. It covers the operating cost of the Voluum platform. The amount of the service fee depends on which payment method you choose, but you are always informed how much it is while topping up your DSP wallet.

    • For the PayPal method: service fee is 4%

    • For a wire transfer method: depends on a bank, but above $5000 top up a service fee is 0%


      Voluum DSP Note: The bank transfer top-up usually takes between 3-5 business days for the funds to appear on your DSP account. However, please keep in mind that the time may vary due to some unforeseen circumstances and depending on the bank. Therefore, the time needed for proceeding with your top-up may be longer than expected.

  • We do not store any credit card or PayPal information in our system. We use a third-party system to process all payment information.

To top up your Voluum DSP account, perform the following steps:

  1. In Voluum, click the DSP BALANCE $0.00 in the main toolbar on top of the page. The  TOP UP YOUR DSP BALANCE window will appear.

  2. In the  Amount and payment method tab:

    1. Select one of the suggested top-up amounts or choose the custom amount.

      • If you want to change the currency click the Change button which is above the predefined top-up amounts.

    2. Select the payment method with which you want to make the payment. You can pay using a credit card, via PayPal, or simply a wire transfer.

    3. Please note there is a service fee. It will vary depending on the top-up amount and on the payment method chosen. For the lowest fee, we recommend paying via wire transfer or Credit Card. Important: If you pay more than 5000$ via wire, we will cover the wire transfer fee.

    4. Click the Next to go to the next tab. 


      If you have selected a wire transfer method, click the Close button.

  3. In the Checkout tab, you should find a preview of your order:

    • For the PayPal method: Click the Buy now button. You will be redirected to the PayPal panel to process the payment.

    • For the Credit Card method: Check if the top-up amount is correct and fill in the CC details. Once done, the Pay button will be activated. Click on it to finalize the payment.

      1. Double-check all items on the list.

      2. Provide your payment details on the right-hand side.

      3. Once you have provided the required data, click the Pay button. Wait until the payment has been processed.

  4. In the Confirmation tab, you should see confirmation that the payment has been approved. If not, the payment was not successfully processed and, as a result, canceled.

    There might be several reasons why the payment has not been processed including:

    • You have insufficient funds in your account for the purchase.

    • Your card number is invalid. Verify the payment details.

    • Your card is not honored. You need to provide other credit card details or use a different payment method. 

  5. You can find the invoice for your payment in Voluum. To download the invoice, follow the steps:

    1. Click profile_settings.png (top right corner of the screen). The Settings will show up.

    2. Click the Billing & Subscription. The billing information will be displayed.

    3. Scroll down to the BILLING HISTORY section. In the table you can find all invoices issued on your Voluum account:
