I. Advertising Content Policy

Prohibited Content

All types of below listed content, products and services are strictly prohibited from running in your Voluum DSP campaign:

  • Dangerous Content - such as weaponry, explosives, etc. and also guides how to assemble it;

  • Drugs and Illegal Substances - promotion of harmful substances (chemical and herbal drugs) and any equipment and prescriptions used to create it;

  • Hate Speech and Discrimination - promotion of any content that segregates individuals or groups of people by race, gender identity, religion, political ideology;

  • Obscene and Morally Wrong Content - anything that is abusive, offensive or obscene;

  • Religion - promoting one religion over another;

  • Violence and Gore - promotion of behavior which is intended to hurt, injure, damage, kill or destroy someone or something. Also, the results of such actions as gore, blood, dead bodies.

Prohibited campaign practices

You must not use content that causes malware or spyware downloads or results in an automatic download of applications without user’s consent, eg:

  • Malicious applications;

  • Ransomware - a type of malware that provides limitation or even prevents users from accessing their operational system unless a ransom is paid;

  • Spyware - unwanted software that hides on users’ devices and could steal sensitive information like passwords or bank account details;

  • Cloaking - cloaking techniques are implemented to hide the real destination that a user is directed to;

Landing page policy
  • The destination URL must lead to a working page;

  • You must not use empty landing pages or pages with an unreasonable amount of popups.

Creative policy

Creatives should be related to the offer/landing page content. Creatives cannot include:

  • Drugs and Illegal Substances;

  • Hate Speech and Discrimination;

  • Nudity;

  • Obscene and Morally Wrong Content;

  • Violence and Gore;

  • Weapons.

Ad Copy (headline & branding text) policy

Headlines, as well as branding text, must make sense and should contain correctly spelled words, proper grammar and punctuation:

  • YES: 5 Unbelievable Books You Won't Believe Exist

  • NO: 29 Foods!! That, Forgot, How to Food@@

Headlines and branding text should not be misleading and inaccurate to the offer content. Also, they cannot contain any offensive and abusive words in any language.
